The 5.5" x 7.5" samples are small but perfect for testing grip and texture before committing to a full mat. I laid them out side-by-side and finally found a cork density that doesn't slip during downward dog.

Trying all four cork mats at home saved me from guessing wrong on a full-size purchase. Each sample is small enough to toss in my bag for class, and the cork texture feels grippy even when my hands get sweaty. Ordering the full mat now.

The cork texture feels different from my usual mat, and the small 5.5" x 7.5" size is surprisingly perfect for testing grip during sun salutations. Made me confident to order the full version.
