The cork surface provides just the right amount of grip even when my palms get sweaty during flow, and the mat stays put on hardwood floors without sliding. It's thick enough to cushion my knees in kneeling poses without feeling unstable.

I've been using this mat for hot yoga sessions and the natural cork absorbs sweat without getting slippery at all. The renewable material construction feels sturdy yet has just enough cushion for my knees during floor poses.

The cork surface actually gets grippier once my hands warm up, which I didn't expect. It's heavier than my old PVC mat, but knowing 83% of it comes from renewable materials makes hauling it to class worth it.
